Life Imitates Art

The joystick used for the new remotely-controlled photonic mast "periscopes" aboard Virginia-class attack submarines was proving unpopular with the crews, as it was difficult to manipulate smoothly. So the Navy asked them what they'd prefer to replace it. The overwhelming response from the young crews? Xbox controllers.
