Doc's Hideaway

Doc Holliday’s famous pistol returns to the city of his death



The town of Glenwood Springs paid $84,000 to buy it from a private collector who had owned it for the past 48 years. That style derringer sold for about five dollars in the 1897 Sears & Roebuck catalog, published ten years after Holliday's death. That's one hell of an appreciation in value.
