Friday Timewaster
Yes, I'm aware it's only Thursday. I'm not completely sodded and senile just yet. I'm posting this early to give you an extra day to grab it, as it's only available for three days, starting today. What is "it," you ask? Why, it's an early Xmas present: a totally free (and DRM-free) copy of Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition from GOG.com.
For those of you what dwell outside of the Geekosphere, this was one of the seminal Dungeons & Dragons-based CRPGs. I put hundreds of hours into this game a decade ago. While it's a little long in the tooth these days, it is still quite playable. There are a great many custom-built modules and mods available for it, but even the base campaign is worth a good 40 hours of gameplay. Go get ya some.
