Going for a new record

Chicago is apparently not content with breaking the annual records both for shootings and gun-related homicides. This past Thanksgiving weekend they decided to take a stab (so to speak) at the most shootings in less-than-24-hours category:

Two men were killed and 15 other people, including two 15-year-old boys, were wounded in shootings between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday, police said.

Not bad. Again, the kill-per-hit ratio is far too low, however. Remember, thugs: BRASS. Breathe, Relax, Aim, Stop breathing, Squeeze. Center-mass sight picture, none of that fancy headshot nonsense. And for fuck's sake, HOLD THE PISTOL UPRIGHT. The sights are on top of it for a reason.

UPDATE: Total tally for Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago: 61 shot, nine killed.

Impressive. Most impressive...
