More Self-Writing Jokes

People want to say we have a racial problem, or a Police problem in this country. I think that is wrong. Is there racism? Yes, but no to the extent the media, or Al sharpton would have you believe. (Although I find it funny that the first thing Libs do is point out the race/color/gender of someone) Do we have a few over zelous police? Yea. Is this what is causing all the strife today? No.

What has happened is we have mis-identified the issue. What we have is a rule of law problem. In a society that is governed by the rule of law, the law is applied equally, to everyone. As we have seen in the past years, that is not how things are working. The law is being applied differently depending on who you know, or how much money you have, or if your husband can meet privately with the lead prosecutor. The second issue is that we have laws being written, not in the interest of public safety (Speeding, robbery, crimes that could cause harm to others) but for political purposes and financial gain ( outlawing the sale of single cigarettes becuase the state might lose some tax revenue)

Whith the combination of the mis-application of law and social media leading to a lynch mob mentality, the process of the rule of law is not allowed to reach its conclusion before people are reacting to situations. Ferguson is a great example. the narrative was already set and when the true circumstances came out, it was too late.

Unless we can get back to a time when the law is applied equally to everyone, and remove the frivilous laws, we will continue to have the civil unrest you see today.

What we have is a professional political class, which was anathema to the Founders. They are re-writing the rules of society to favor themselves, just as such people always do. Historically, there is only one solution for that particular problem. I'll get the rope.
