Fun with Nukes

Here's a cool site where you can play with various nuclear weapons to your heart's content. The details are quite extraordinary. For example, an airburst detonation of a USAF W-53 nine megaton warhead directly over Golden Gate Park in San Francisco results in a lovely 4.6 km diameter fire ball, with a 5 psi overpressure blast radius of 14.6 km and yields first-order fatalities of 699,980. As an added bonus, the selected airburst height of about 6500m will result in very minimal fallout, thus confining second-order fatalities from radiation almost entirely within the desired target area of San Francisco proper.

I mean, you know... if a person saw San Francisco as a desirable target. Which I don't, of course. Really.
