I guess it's okay when the Left puts forward a populist demagogue as a candidate, (Barry Soetoro, for instance), but it's the end of the fucking universe when the Right does it. Tough cookies. I don't particularly favor Trump as a candidate, but I'm finding true joy in watching as he sends the Leftist media in this country into spit-slinging fits. They seem to really believe they're the arbiter on who is "qualified" to run for president. If so, they need to give up the hat, as they totally flubbed the job already.
As for suspending immigration of Muslims, (which is what Trump proposed, not "banning" them as the press likes to wave about), I didn't want them here in the first place. I'm not alone in that sentiment, either. Not by a long shot.
Islam is a political philosophy inside the husk of a religion. It was created by an anti-Semitic pedophile as a means of social and political domination. As such, it is both morally bankrupt and fundamentally incompatible with the separation of church and state as put forth in the United States Constitution. If you doubt that, just look at the trouble the Europeans are having with it. As always, the smartest kids in the room are the Asians. Most of the Pacific Rim countries figured out what Islam was decades ago and banned it entirely. Rather than worrying about hurting anybody's feelings, we should be following their example.
