The Town

If this looks familiar, it's because you've seen it dozens or possibly hundreds of times. It's the movie set where most of the spaghetti westerns -- over 200 of them, in fact -- were filmed. Interestingly, it's not in Italy but Spain, located in the middle of the Tabernas desert. A few of the movies shot here include The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Once Upon A Time in the West and For A Few More Dollars. Basically, if it was a western released in the '60s or '70s, it was probably filmed on this set. A few streets and the Fort Bravo site are maintained for tourists, but most of it lies abandoned. Piclick for lots more photos.
