Pissing Off the Buddha
So now the muzzies have managed to enrage the Buddhists. That takes some doing. Unlike Islam, Buddhism really is a religion of peace. The principle of turning the other cheek is imbedded more deeply in Buddhism even than in Christianity. Naturally the mainstream media are rearing up on their hind legs to scream "Islamophobia" at the top of their lungs.
Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Jews... It seems that Islam is at war with everybody. I would submit that if you are contentious with everyone around you, but that none of them are contentious with each other, then YOU are the problem. If a guy gets drunk and picks a fight with the whole bar, it would be irrational in the extreme to blame all of the other bar patrons for his unwarranted actions.
Islam is aggressive, regressive, and oppressive. It is misogynistic, homophobic, and intolerant. It does not fit into the sensibilities of the modern world, either in the West or in the East. In short, it has no redeeming qualities. It is a blight upon the civilizations of planet Earth.
We are long past the point where we should be calling this a spade. Islam is no more morally valid than any number of cults which have sprung up over the years. David Koresh and Jim Jones are separated from Mohammed by nothing more than time. They are fellow travelers, as are their deluded followers.
Sitting on our collective hands and mewling about human rights while Islam burns and slaughters its way across the entire planet is not the reaction of rational people, it is the refuge of cowards. The last decade has demonstrated beyond any doubt that the Western press and political class are full of cowards; maybe the East still have some wits and courage about them. We'd better hope so, because if our culture of spoiled, ignorant children refuses to awaken from this self-induced torpor of willful stupidity and blind acceptance of a virulent societal poison like Islam, your great-grandchildren may very well be answering the Muslim call to prayer every day of their lives.
