First Amendment -V- Bigotry

OU President David Boren has severed ties with the fraternity. On Tuesday, he expelled the two students who appeared to be leading the chant and said others involved would face discipline.

Do I find what these Morons were chanting repulsive? Yes. Should they receive counseling? Yes. Should they be expelled and receive discipline? No. Public school, public money, which in my mind makes it an arm of the Government. The purpose of the First Amendment is to protect speech from censorship or repercussion from the Government. Especially speech such as this.The main reason for the First Amendment was to protect speech that was unpopular or unliked from those in power and from the masses. Abhorrent as it was, this speech is and should be protected.
