Liar Liar

There's something deeply satisfying about watching leftist talking heads trying to eat each other:

You know you’re in trouble when Tom Brokaw is out for your blood. NBC’s most revered journalist is furious that Brian Williams is still in the anchor chair after he sheepishly admitted he hadn’t traveled on a helicopter hit by enemy fire.

“Brokaw wants Williams’ head on a platter,” an NBC source said. “He is making a lot of noise at NBC that a lesser journalist or producer would have been immediately fired or suspended for a false report.”

Keep dancing on that broken glass. This is the most entertainment I've had from NBC in years.

As for Brian "Pants On Fire" Williams, I don't agree with the "stolen valor" accusations. That's because one must have actually been in a position to earn valor in order to steal it. A soldier who wears a Bronze Star he didn't earn or a sailor who flunked out of BUD/S but wears a trident, those are examples of stolen valor. Brian Williams wasn't even a soldier, he was an observer. There was never any valor available for him to steal. He is just a sad little man with an inferiority complex who desperately tries to garner attention to himself. Thus:

One longtime NBC employee who has worked with Williams on several occasions had a few dirty words to describe the celebrated anchor, calling him a “real pompous piece of shit.”

“He’s an asshole,” he fumed. “He’s not a journalist. He’s a reader."

And now he's a liar. His career is effectively over and I'll shed not one tear about it. Maybe he and Dan Rather can keep each other company while they drink themselves to death.
