Twisted Priorities
Summing up the problem in one sentence:
Eight million dollars a year to coach a college football team. And that's not for a particularly prestigious college. Yet we wonder why our collegiate system is turning out illiterate graduates who are up to their proverbial noses in debt. The big universities have become perverse parodies of educational institutions, focusing their efforts -- and the bulk of available funds -- on disseminating leftist propaganda and training gladiators. If it weren't the death knell for the future of America, it'd be rather funny.
The University of Michigan is taking another shot at convincing 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh to return to his alma mater, offering a deal worth $48 million for six years
