WTH?

What the hell is this? I thought it was a map watermark at first, but it's an actual object on the ground. It's a few miles south of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia (country not state). There is what looks like a military base about a mile to the northwest, but I can't for the life of me figure out what this thing might be...

I really hope it doesn't mean made in China. I would hate to think the creation of the planet was outsourced. Although it might explain a few things.
