As has been discussed here dozens of times, what a horrible idea. Continue to raise the minimum wage and what you will see is more automated jobs. Many stores use self checkout, or even Kiosks to make purchases, and now they push online ordering. The purpose of this is twofold, one convenience, and two, a one time cost of installation and then no need to train someone to take money and the orders will be entered correctly. The added benefit is no need to train new staff every few months when the current ones leave for better jobs, or just stop showing up. My son got his first job at Bojangle's a chicken place. Within two months he was one of the most senior persons there. Most of the people who worked there were either high school students or 30-40 year olds with criminal histories and a clear lack of motivation to improve their station in life.

Truth be told, I believe that even criminals who have served their time deserve a second chance to show they have changed, but keep raising minimum wage and what is going to happen is the hiring process will become just as difficult at Goodburger as it is to get a real job. The insanity behind this boggles the mind. There are reasons they are called entry level jobs. The only real outcome of all of this will be the devaluation of the dollar. Congratulations, you got $15.00 an hour burger flipper's, now enjoy your $10.00 happy meal. Dumbasses.
