Foreign what?

What's a foreign policy?

Twice in the past seven days, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have secretly teamed to launch air strikes against Islamist-allied militias battling for control of Tripoli, Libya, four senior U.S. officials said, in a major escalation between the supporters and opponents of political Islam.

The United States, the officials said, was caught by surprise: Egypt and the Emirates, both close allies and military partners, acted without informing Washington or seeking its consent, leaving the Obama administration on the sidelines.

Of course they left him on the sidelines; that's where Obama's been since he took office. He's weak and ineffectual and every nation-state in the world knows it, so they're taking matters into their own hands. This is always the result of appeasement. On the bright side, more Muslims are blowing each other up every day and the sons of Moses are about one rocket away from dumping a barrel of whoop-ass on Palestine. In that sense, at least, Obama's "foreign policy" has been a resounding success.
