Hey Guido!
So the pope excommunicated the Mafia. Now an Italian prosecutor warns that the mob may put a contract on the pope. Which would ensure them a place in heaven, obviously... or something. I'm really not sure what the thought process there might be, since I find it impossible to think the way such people think -- by which I mean the Mafia, Catholics, and public prosecutors.
Of course, the Catholic church accusing the mafia of corruption and money laundering is the proverbial pot accusing the proverbial kettle. I'll say this for him: this Pope Francis dude appears to be the real deal, meaning he's a true believer rather than a politician. I don't usually like true believer and crusader personality types, but I might make an exception for him. If nothing else, it'll be fun to watch as he sends all of the power brokers around the world, both religious and secular, into conniption fits.
