Supreme Luddites

Is technology outgrowing the foundations of our legal system? The author of this article certainly seems to think that's the case, arguing that the Supreme Court justices are so technically backwards, they can't even be relied upon to rule knowledgeably where information technology is concerned. He may be right.

If, however, we end up with laws ill-suited to the technology of the 'net, then the 'net will become lawless. Sort of a Wild West Web, if you'll pardon the pun. Funny thing about information: the more of it there is, the harder it is to control.
