Note that "unlocking" is not the same thing as "jailbreaking." Many people do the latter, but unlocking is generally only done to expedite crossing over service networks. It simply doesn't apply to most people. I get nervous, however, any time the Federal government decides to forbid something, whether it affects me personally or not.
