Cold
What happens when you throw boiling water off a balcony when the outside temperature is -41C? This:
A more pressing question is this: Why in the the hell would anyone choose to live in a place where the daytime temperature is -41C?! I'd rather live under a bridge in a warm climate.
As a Marine, (and a much younger man with youth's accompanying tolerance for cold), I was subjected to extensive cold weather training. Bridgeport MWTC was very cold. Team Spirit in Korea in January was really, really cold. Cross-training with the Jap 6th Infantry in northern Hokkaido in February was that icicles-on-your-balls, frozen eyelids, piss on your boots to make them warmer (yes, seriously) type of cold. None of those even approached -41C. I am thus forced to conclude that anyone voluntarily living in such an environment is mentally deranged -- i.e., Russian. Both Napoleon and Hitler learned that truth the hard way.
