Actually, most of the rest of us were wondering if there were some way to kick Alabama out of the Union.
OK I get it...I have not posted in a long time, but to take a shot at my home state just to incite a response is a little too much or are you just an SEC hater?
For what it's worth, Texas is now on the list and in the lead with 53,663 votes. :)
No, I love the SEC, sort of. I am more an ACC man, but there is at least one good team in the SEC. And they are NOT from Alabama.
Alabama... Alabama... Sounds vaguely familiar. Didn't that used to be part of Florida or something?
=P
As I recall, some rich white guys bought a lot of land really cheap from the French. This land ended up being a virtually uninhabitable swamp, and this Alabama place might have been part of that, and if not, resembles this uninhabitable swamp the white guys bought. I think the rest of the Colonies convinced some people called Acadians to carry the trash there, then wouldn't let them back in the Colonies after they crossed the borders.
I might be fuzzy on my history since the current books are being re-written by Liberals.
