TV Land

Netflix viewers watched 1 billion hours worth of television and movies in the month of June 2012.

I can't resist indulging the intarwebz fascination with StupidStats, so here goes: If one person were to watch that many hours of television, they would've had to start in roughly 112,000 BC -- about the time homo sapiens sapiens first appeared -- and never sleep. I've no idea how many football fields that is equal to.
