One must realize that when you swear that oath, you willingly suspend your rights as a citizen of this country in favor of the UCMJ. Plus, really, no matter where you are at, if the boss's policies say don't do something, don't do it, or get fired, as any civilian would expect.
Yes, you have a right to free speach. However, that doesn't include the right to be free from the consequences for saying something stupid.
I've said many a disparaging remark about Bill Clinton. I wasn't stupid enough to air that dirty laundry in print in public until AFTER he was no longer my Commander in Chief.
