Economic Data for Left-wingers

Since they apparently can't be bothered to read economics textbooks or comprehend numbers larger than the amount of digits they posses, here it is in pictures:

So next time you get dragged into an discussion on economic systems with someone that thinks that this recession was due to "unbridled, greedy capitalism" or other such nonsense, you can distract them with pretty pictures instead of watching their eyes glaze over as you quote economic figures that are actually based in reality (and therefore flatly contradict the media's figures).

If the buildings fail to get the point across (its just a facade!), point out the differences in transportation. One of the "before" pictures actually has a horse-drawn wagon.

This is a seriously good bit of photography. The photographer noted the position and angle of every shot and was able to duplicate each one almost perfectly. Impressive.
