Begone, foul beast!

A U.S. District Court judge in Nevada has ordered infamous copyright troll Righthaven to forfeit all copyrights.

If you're unfamiliar with Righthaven, just Google the name and you'll get millions of hits. It is basically a pack of lawyers who spend all their time bullying bloggers into paying copyright fees on material that clearly falls under the protection of fair use laws -- such as quoting from a newspaper article when a link to the original is provided in context of the post, as we do here at Apathy Curve all the time.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Unfortunately, they'll probably just set up another scam, but at least it won't be this one again.
