Microsoft: HTML5 > Flash
I'm not exactly Microsoft's biggest fan, but I'm gratified to see they are dumping Flash for Win8/IE10.
Adobe has been plumbing the depths of crappy coding and atrocious support for years now, so anything that gives them a swift kick to the financial nuts can only be for the greater good. This move will either force Adobe to improve or it'll sink them; either is fine by me.

Sounds good to me. Apple gave them the finger when they refused to support flash on their iPhone/iPad products. Apple's complaint was the same as Microsoft's; Adobe's unwillingness to address issues of power requirements effecting battery life, security, reliability, and user privacy. Now it appears Adobe has no other options. Adapt or perish.
