Two parents have filed separate lawsuits against the Cumberland County Board of Education claiming their children were locked in a janitor's closet as punishment.

I recall getting paddled, with a real paddle, after which I'd go home and get a whipping by my parents. If I had the option, I would have preferred to get locked in a mop closet any day.
