The Day of Rage: Thousands clash with police as protests boil over on streets of Egypt and Lebanon

OK OK. I know your saying "Davis, the muslims are rioting and trying to overthrow their Government! How is this a note of sanity ya crazy Bastard?
Well, here is why;

To the north, in the Mediterranean port city of Alexandria, thousands of protesters also marched in what was dubbed a 'Day of Rage' against Mr Mubarak and lack of political freedoms under his rule.
In another parallel with the Tunisia protests, the calls for rallies went out on Facebook and Twitter, with 90,000 saying they would attend.

Meanwhile, in Lebanon, a prime minster backed by pro-Iranian Hezbollah was appointed sparking angry street protests and fears the move would plunge the country into a new crisis

Essentially the populace of these countries are no longer fed just the State version of events and are starting to think that maybe these crazy idiots in charge of their religion and Government may be the reason so many are living in poverty and not a conspiracy by the Jews and America.
I could be totally wrong and this is the beginning of an even larger conflict that will grow to engulf the whole world and push us into another dark age, or they could be wising up and realizing that following mega rich leaders who want you to live in abject poverty and follow 12th century social and religious Dogma may not be such a smart thing to do. No matter what, a second room is being added to the Davis Bunker........just in case..for now I'll store my wine and booze in it.
