Palinoia

James Taranto does a pretty good job of dissecting the Left's irrational hatred of Sarah Palin.

He makes some good points, but I think it's even simpler than he states: American liberals are self-loathing sociopaths with unresolved childhood issues. Sarah Palin represents the synthesis of the traditional nuclear family with sexual equality, and when they look at her, they can't help but despise her. She is the embodiment of that which they craved, but never had.
