Spooky Sounds
Do you remember this record?
In the late 70s, during the weeks leading up to Halloween, I used to spend hours just laying on the floor and listening to this LP on my cheesy little kiddie turntable. During lunch today, I was thinking about Halloween decorations and I began to wax nostalgic -- something I'm wont to do more and more often these days. I went a-Googlin' and found this picture of the album cover. That was nice. But this is better; some kind soul has a copy of the LP and has ripped it into MP3s.
As we're sitting on the driveway handing out candy to the tots this year, I'll hook my phone up to some hidden speakers and broadcast the creepiness -- all the while wallowing shamelessly in nostalgic warmth (and a little brandy, too).
It's gonna be a good Halloween.

Way to go Jarhead. Just keep giving the little snot nose brats’ free candy, making them Democrats for life. The continuance of the “it’s my right society” will continue thanks to the likes of you. I personally will be blocking my front door so that the beggars (free loaders) will stay away. Especially since Halloween is on Sunday night, they will not interrupt my Sunday Night Football! Boo……
