Scoop 'em up or slap 'em down

This sign, posted at the entrance to a restaurant in North Carolina, has apparently cause something of a stir. Which is interesting only in the fact that such a sign would not have been required thirty years ago, because people had the courtesy to control their squalling crotch-fruits in public.

Piclick for the article -- which is surprisingly light on all the whining, moaning, pissing and groaning you'd expect. In fact, most people seem to agree with it. Maybe there's hope for us yet... but don't expect me to get all bubbly about such a remote possibility.
