Super Stichers
The nominal leader of Paki-land is a goat killer:
Nothing odd there, of course; it's just goat-herders being goat-herders. A little scary, perhaps, since the Paki's have nukes, but not unexpected.
But look at this sentence:
"Though Muslim..."
Wow, Al-Reuters! You've outdone yourself this time. Could you maybe get that sentence a little more pregnant with fawning, lap-dog, anti-Western implication? If there's a more superstitious "faith" than Islam, I'd like to know what it might be. Of course, I see all religion as nothing more than codified silliness, but Islam is pretty much king of the craphill when it comes to nutty ideas.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has a black goat slaughtered at his house almost every day to ward off "evil eyes" and protect him from "black magic," a newspaper reported Wednesday.
A spokesman for the president told the Dawn newspaper the goats were slaughtered as an act of Sadaqah -- meaning "voluntary charity" in Islam whereby one gives out money or the meat of a slaughtered animal to the poor to win Allah's blessing and stave off misfortune.
Nothing odd there, of course; it's just goat-herders being goat-herders. A little scary, perhaps, since the Paki's have nukes, but not unexpected.
But look at this sentence:

"Though Muslim..."
