Silly trials for silly ideas.
From one perspective, it's yet another example of "deep-pockets theory" greed against Big Oil, fomented by the roving packs of unscrupulous class-action lawyers which have become as common as coyotes over the past few decades. But, as the article's author points out, at least it's getting the silliness of AGW into court, where it will (hopefully) be exposed to the light of critical analysis.
