The (dis) honorable congresswoman
During a town hall meeting in Texas on health care legislation, a cancer survivor attempts to ask Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee a question - but the Congresswoman was too busy placing a cell phone call to be able to address her constituent's concern.
Plant them
Presenting herself as a general practitioner, a town hall questioner at Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee’s health care town hall in Houston, Texas praised the Democrats’ health care reform plan saying, “I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic.”
But as the Lone Star Times points out, this so-called ‘doctor’ is really an Obama campaign volunteer who attended the town hall event with Maria Isabel, a Houston Obama campaign office manager that hung a Che Guevara Cuba flag behind her Obama campaign office desk.
In the video on the site she identifies herself as a "general practitioner" or Doctor. It has been shown that she does not live in Ms.Lee's district and that she is not a doctor. Placing someone in the audience is kind of stupid, especially in this day and age where any statement or subterfuge can be discovered.
This may not be Ms. Lee's doing, but the taking a call, to me, was the bigger offense. This truly shows the Hubris of the incumbents and this particular Democrat. Please vote her out and get someone in there that really cares about her constituents.
