Is it available "pre-smashed"?
Some company of clueless tech-geeks is trying to market a wearable keyboard for military applications. The object in question:
That little thing? Ha! Not even close to grunt-proof. That won't last fifteen minutes in the field.
What makes me say this? Oh, I don't know... call it a hunch.

I think it would be better served in law enforcement for the collection of data. I would give it about an hour in the hands of a gravel agitating Jarhead before it is in three pieces.
I don't know, looks like it will last longer if no tank drivers are using it.....
An hour? My, you're generous. I've seen Marines break mortar baseplates. There's only two moving parts on a baseplate, and they're both made of high-tensile steel.
I say an hour in that it takes time for it to be handed out, taken out of the box and then the strap lost, the instructions dropped in a puddle and then it slammed into the side of a 5-ton/humvee/tank/howitzer, or just thrown down.
I would have said 3-5 days taking into consideration the Marines penchant to set aside an hour of instruction just to teach you how to use a q-tip, but I based it on actual hands on after initial issue and order "not to break the damn thing"
I'm just glad they didn't call it indestructible, because as you know, a Marine can never pass up a challenge.
