Busted

Whoopsie:

The boss of Britain's biggest speed camera firm got a sixmonth driving ban yesterday for doing nearly 103mph.

Tom Riall, 49, earns £150,000 a year as head of the Serco Government Division, which operates 5,000 of the UK's 8,000 Gatso cameras. The dad-of-three had seven penalty points when police clocked him doing 102.92mph in Newmarket in January.

Riall, of Ufton Nervet, in Berkshire, admitted speeding, but said a ban would cause him "exceptional hardship". Sudbury magistrates were not convinced. They also fined him £300, plus court costs.
