Moon Views
A site about LOIRP, the Lunar Orbiter Image Recovery Project. These folks dug up and rebuilt an ancient FR-900 tape drive system in order to salvage data almost lost to history -- images from the pre-Apollo orbiter missions. Some of the high resolution obliques, like this one, are pretty stunning. You can actually see the curvature of the horizon in sharp relief (no atmospheric distortion) and pick out minute selenographic details.
For many more images, click the Lunar Orbiter/Images link on the left sidebar. The "Print Resolution" links at the bottom of each frame page will take you to the super-duper hi-rez goodness.
