Here Come the Law Suits

Here's an article about another alarmist group possibly having to defend themselves in court.

MADRID - A group of real estate developers and property owners in La Manga del Mar Menor - a spit of sandy, low-lying coastal land and Murcia's premier beach resort - are threatening to take Greenpeace to court over its graphic predictions of what global warming may do to the area, which they say have caused house prices to plummet.

I have no idea about the housing market in Madrid. Or if the claims by the estate owners are true. I do believe however, that people are getting fed up with the alarmist claims. The current price of gas and food are part of the result of these propaganda pushers. The US government needs to make damn sure of claims before they start passing legislation. In regards to environmentalists claims they have not performed well. It's time for our government to step up and make the correct decisions. Decisions based on facts as opposed to ones based off of unsupported claims or rhetoric. They need to verify the findings of anything that will be used to justify changes in policy or law. Otherwise they will most likely be doing more harm than good.
