Well dip me in Saurian brandy and call me a Gorn, I had no idea old George was a pole-smoker. Hrmph.

/shrug

None my bidniz anyway; he plays a good character and he doesn't insist on using his screen presence for activism, so.... carry on, George. And quite frankly, the whole gay marriage thing is a gigantic non-issue for me. If they really think being married is such a huge financial advantage, they should speak with a CPA.

Back on Star Trek, I've long believed that Paramount should do a new ST series based around Sulu as a captain or admiral. Always liked the character, and Takei has indicated his enthusiasm for this idea many times. Unfortunately, it being a good idea, Paramount is almost certain to avoid it as if it carried the black plague.

I guess you must have missed the Roast they did of Bill Shatner on a cable last year. There were lots of funny Gay Sulu jokes. Of course George got his chance at the mike too....
