I have lifted this passage from the e-mail the "science" teacher sent out to everyone:
In the fall of 2007 seventh grade HAG students were introduced to a unit on "Global Warming."They learned all about greenhouse gases (Carbon Dioxide, Methane, CFCs, and Nitrous Oxides), computer modeling, ocean level rises, changes in climate, alternate energy sources, fossil fuels, and political & personal solutions. In January of 2008, students were asked to look back on their Global Warming studies, choose a topic and create a 'persuasive essay' to convince podcast listeners that Global Warming is real and that their topic is an important Global Warming issue. Taking their topic in hand they headed to the Internet to collect detailed information and then begin crafting a five-paragraph essay persuading listeners that their topic is indeed important in the Global Warming discussion and encouraging their listeners to action in response to the topic. Thirty-eight A-level essays have been uploaded to the internet and are now available for your listening pleasure. Click on the picture above or this link to the Global Warming web page where you can listen to students read their Global Warming essays.
My son had to re-write his essay because I had him originally write it providing information argueing both sides and let the "reader" decide for themselves. He was told to re-write it saying that global warming existed and we caused it and was given a lower grade because he did not follow the instructions. I did not believe that teachers like this existed. The Social studies teacher is bad enough, but this is SCIENCE! No difference of opinion even allowed. A true scientist comes up with a theory then spends time trying to prove it wrong, not following dogma. It makes me sick. I know Jar(egg) heads parents were teachers, but guys like this are an insult to them.

Every day I'm thankful my parents talked me out of teaching.
I'm also married to a teacher, one who happens to be very intelligent and conscientious in her job. Unfortunately, she is the exception to the rule among modern teachers. The educational system, being at its heart a form of socialism, is becoming increasingly fascist in its methods. There are many reasons for it, but the most important is the fact that politicians have hijacked the money from education, collected it into central funds, then gutted the power of the local school boards. It makes the district officials beholden to the politicians, instead of to the taxpayers in their district. It was a subtle, clever and very deliberate shift in power that started a couple of decades ago and is now nearly complete. The primary tool utilized by the politicos to accomplish this goal was standardized testing. It is without doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to public education in America.
The upshot of all this political maneuvering is that those in the classroom must be willing to swallow the pill. Because the unintelligent and gullible tend to be much easier to indoctrinate than the smart and quick, the system is becoming increasingly selective for dimwits like your son's science teacher.
There was a time, not very long in the past, when public education careers attracted only the best and brightest. Now it more often attracts the second-rate dullards, and "alternative certification" programs aren't helping the matter. I'm not entirely certain how my wife tolerates it, but I'm glad we still have smart people such as her who are willing to help stem the tide. I just wish there were a lot more of them like her, and a lot fewer like your son's teacher.
Since Gorbal Warming© is manmade, according to the science teacher, I am sure he/she could use an extra 150k. So give him/her this website and tell them to write a scientific paper proving man made Gorbal Warming© to collect it.

I suggest that you contact this "science teacher" and inform them that having converted to Islam you are deeply offended by the teaching of Global Warming Heresy. The Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, and the Holy Qur'an (don't forget the ', that shows you're legit) are very clear that such things as changing the climate are not within the powers of man and are stricly the domain of Allah. Ascribing the powers of Allah to mere men is a blasphemy that Islam demands the faithful to avenge. And if they do not cease this blasphemy immediately and publicly beg forgiveness for their sin, you will have to declare Jihad on them.
Based on my reading of the mainstream press, this method seems to have been very effective when dealing with these sorts of people.
