Master Modeler
A completely scratch-built 1/96 scale model of a British ship-of-the-line. It was made from chestnut -- using real plank-on-frame construction -- by modeler Den Holmes. The rigging and shrouds were woven by hand.
I've always considered myself a pretty damned good model builder, but I'm a bumbling amateur next to this guy.

As do most women, I greatly admire a man with an eye for detail.
