Brutha Bear

Profiled:

Police in New Jersey say a black bear is suspected of stealing a people carrier and taking it for a spin.

The passenger window had been broken and the door panels were damaged.

"Apparently, the bear had also accidentally released the emergency brake and allowed the vehicle to roll away 40 or 50 feet away from the owner's house."

Oh, so because it's a black bear you just automatically assume it was stolen, right? Yeah, if it had been a polar bear, everybody would've had a good laugh and gone home. But it was a black bear! And everybody knows that black bears don't have nice cars, right? So it must be a thief!

Stop ursine profiling! Equal rights for all bears!
