Nobody's Ever to Blame

So she's in a, like, a beauty contest or something, right? Like, wow!

A pretty teenager racked up a £1,175 phone bill – by voting for herself in an online beauty contest. Wannabe model Chelsea Gledhill, 14, sent nearly 2,000 texts in a month, costing 60p each.

First, go look at the picture at the link. Pretty enough to be a model? Not on this planet. Dumb enough to be a model? Well, she's got talent, there...

She comes by it honestly:

Her mum, Lisa Fairbank, 35, yesterday accused organisers of Miss Teen Queen UK of exploiting kids. Chelsea sent in a snap of herself to the contest for 13-19-year-olds with her parents’ consent.

Lisa, a cleaner from Halifax, West Yorks, said: "I’m not angry at Chelsea because I understand why she did it. I’m angry at the exploitation. Girls are vulnerable at that age."

You let her enter the contest. Then she exposed her genetic proclivity for double-digit intelligence to the entire world. So now it's not her fault; it's not your fault; it's the fault of the organizers.

Seems you've got that victimhood thing cinched, cupcake. I'm sure your daughter has a bright future swinging around a pole. In a great deal of make-up, one hopes...
