Three idiots decided to scale the steepest part of Mount Hood. In winter. Right before a storm front rolls through. Uncle Charlie is rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

All of the lost boys in question are between the ages of 36 and 48--old enough that they should know better. Age, however, must be alloyed with intelligence and experience in order to create wisdom. These three are obviously lacking at least one of those vital components. Since they're all self-styled veteran mountain climbers, you can guess which component is missing.
