Retrograde Progress

Over the last two years, I've taken to reading novels almost exclusively on my smartphone. It has a large, bright screen, the text is easily readable, and I found it fairly easy to adapt to as a reading medium. Perhaps the best part, however, is that I always have a library of hundreds of books with me, no matter where I may find myself. More and more people are buying ebooks, and several companies--Baen Books among them--have made a tidy little profit from pioneering the market.

Of course, there's always some damned fool who takes a step backwards, all the while talking about his great forward leap:

If you like ebooks but don’t like reading them on your computer screen, this How-to post is for you. I’ll show you a quick and dirty book binding technique you can use to turn your ebook into a real book...

What's next? How to turn your automobile into a gas-powered horse?
