Caught A Deserter

It's not a knitting club, cupcake; it's the Army. On top of that, you're in the military police, which means that even fellow soldiers don't like you, (for good reason, I might add). You signed a contract and were fully informed of your obligations at the time you signed it. So suck it up, do your duty, and quit whining like a five year-old that didn't get the toy she wanted.
On second thought, just go directly to Leavenworth and rot in a cell. Perhaps you'll like that better.
A 21-year-old woman who refused to deploy with her Army unit to Iraq for a second tour has been arrested and will be returned to Fort Lewis, Washington... [Specialist Swift] was listed as AWOL late last year and her unit left for Iraq without her.
[Specialist Swift's mother] said her daughter broke down and said she could not return because of the war and the way she was treated. She said her daughter was belittled, called names, and frequently propositioned.
