Barry Manilow, of all people, is back at the top of the charts. Good for him.

Yes, I actually like Manilow's music. So shoot me.

Of course, I also listen to new age, techno/indy, fusion jazz, classical symphonic, euro trance-dance, acoustic guitar, speed metal, celtic traditional, vintage electronic, and even some gospel, among other things. It's something of an understatement to say that my taste in music is odd. In fact, I'll listen to pretty much anything that's not rap--because rap isn't music; it's noise pollution.

Also consider that Manilow is light-years better than most of that trash that's on the Billboard charts. Eminem? Who the hell told that idiot he was a musician? As far as I'm concerned, the jury's still out on whether he's sentient.

And before you ask: Yes, I also like the BeeGees.
