And the Stupid Criminal of the Year is...

Michael Drennon of Philadelphia:

A note handed to a bank teller demanding $20, $50 and $100 bills...was written on a pay stub

Bravo! Mr. Drennon. You're a wonderful argument in favor of genetic culling.

"It wasn't a huge forensic undertaking," Steven Moran, Bensalem director of public safety, said Wednesday.

No kidding. I think even a suburban police department can figure this one out.
