Those silly Dutch people. So easily confused:
While I admire Ms. Ossevoort's determination, I believe a brief geography lesson may be in order:
A young Dutch actress's bid to drive to the South Pole on a tractor suffered a blow after police confiscated the vehicle.
Ossevoort, 28, from Amsterdam, was attempting to travel across Europe through Africa to the South Pole to raise money for children's charities.

Maybe it's an amphibious tractor made for toiling in the kelp fields. Or perhaps it's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang reincarnated. Who cares? The idea of traveling across two continents at 12 miles per hour gives a whole new meaning to silly. There has to be an easier way to raise money. Do something useful. Volunteer to plow every farm in Europe in 5 years time. Be almost as fast and the farmers would be happy.
