Darwin Alert: Shotguns

I think this little asshat spent too much time playing video games. Now all he can do is lay around feeding worms.

A man whose friends initially said he was killed by gunfire outside a Gary liquor store actually died after he donned what he thought was a bulletproof vest and asked a cohort to shoot him.

"He voluntarily put on the vest because he wanted to experience what a .20-gauge shotgun would do," Finnerty told the Post-Tribune of Merrillville.

From three feet away? Uh... kill you, perhaps? I don't care if you're wearing Threat Level VI armor, it'll still kill you. You could have saved yourself the trouble and just asked somebody who had experience with real weapons and armor, rather than video games.

Hobart police Lt. Leo Finnerty said Friday that Wright was going to join the military and wanted some battlefield experience.

At this time, I wish to offer my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Wright for removing his stupid ass from the gene pool. I'm doubly grateful, because he didn't actually get into the military and get good men killed with his stupidity.
