Random Useless Sports Trivia of the Day: Until it was merged with the United States Bowling Congress in 2005, the Women's International Bowling Congress (WIBC) was the largest female athletic orgainzation in the world, with over 1.2 million members at the time of the merger. The 1997 WIBC World Championship in Reno, Nevada fielded nearly 15,000 five-woman teams. The event still holds the world record for largest team sports tournament.
